This hotel had good facilities and gym equipment and was in a new and up and coming area of Lyon with plenty of places to eat. We had access to a very good supermarket and coffee shop downstairs which we utilised for breakfast. Excellent tram service out the front of the hotel which takes you into the centre of the town. There is also access to the river taxi. Staff were very helpful and polite. We also had free parking for the one night we had a car, which was a real bonus
The main issue with this hotel was the difficulty we had controlling the temperature in the room. One minute we woke up freezing, the next boiling and we had to endure this for three nights. The floors were also not as clean as they could have been and the plastic cups and tea bags were not replaced each time the room was cleaned.

We booked this hotel by way of a stop over during our journey from the UK to Val Thorens for a weeks skiing trip, we really chose it as the location was good and it left us a short 2.5 hr drive to VT, the hotel was newly opened the rooms were well designed and modern
parking was our first issue, I am a poor french speaker and nobody knew how to get to the hotel parking which was a designated parking area in the lower floors of a multi storey car park, very frustrating after a long journey, once we found the parking which believe it or not took half an hour, the only problem with our whole journey!! The hotel did not have the family room available despite booking it with them days before, not too much of an issue however as our daughter is 16 years old, if she was any younger then it would have been a real nightmare, the food was very poor, evening meal was I suppose OK but only just, as we were travelling we wanted breakfast as soon as the restaurant opened 7am, cold buffet was available, but cooked food was only served after I asked for it twice, when it arrived fresh out of the kitchen I took a mouthful of food to be greated with freezing cold food, straight out of the fridge, it was raw!!!!! the hotel had only just opened a few days before, we seemed to be one group of around 10 groups how can you get it so wrong, disgusting, the only way this can happen is by having staff who don't care!!!! its not a mistake it is a lack of proffessionalism

comfort of the room location design of the hotel
low staffing for a 4 stars hotel (reception and breakfast) would expect a Nespresso machine with cups in the room and not "plastic cups and kettle" in a 4 stars hotel

Newness of the hotel Close to a new mall and public transport Convenient parking
A bit too far from the city Center Our phone didn't work in our room and it wasn't fixed. Wouldn't have been a big deal but there was a false fire alarm at midnight and we couldn't get any information. Heating/AC didn't work We had robes our first night but they were removed and weren't replaced. The room card said 5pm checkout on Sunday but we had to leave at Noon.

easy access to vibrant parks and fascinating landmarks
I enjoyed the fine views of the river from my spacious room and appreciated the convenience of having a large shopping center with plenty of dining options just a few steps away. If you're a vegetarian, though, be prepared for limited options at the hotel restaurant.

Couples looking for comfort & convenience
We had a junior suite on the top floor, really spacious and nicely furnished with great views over the river and confluence. The breakfast buffet was decadent with many options like fresh fruits and that amazing coffee machine that makes everything, we used that a lot!
Not cheap, but still reasonable.

Lovely new feel to rooms, clean and comfortable, good bed and pillows and excellent shower. I had a spacious bathroom with bath and separate toilet. Fantastic breakfast, helpful reception staff. Also next to a large shopping centre.
Long way from centre of Lyon, however staff advised me of little ferry which goes from near hotel right into historical centre of Lyon for only a couple of euros.
